Money saving cleaners

I wrote here about how I save money around the house. Vinegar is my favourite money saving tip, I’ve been using it as a cleaner for months. I tend to just pour a lid full onto a bench and start wiping away. Until this weekend when I looked around online and found some recipes for home made cleaners, and to my joy most use vinegar.

I made both an all purpose cleaner and a glass cleaner.

The boy and I rent a lovely little maisonette and our lease was for a year. Unfortunately, it’s the end of the lease and they are not renewing it. We have four weeks, well probably three now, to find a new house and to move into it. I am avoiding study for a little while, so I thought I’d blog. I love shopping for household goods, but I hate spending money for brand names or overpriced goods. Considering I’m studying to be a marketer but I can also see that nice brand packaging or good, clean, brand aware ads, doesn’t mean it’s the best product. Here are my few ideas that have worked perfectly for our household.

I had a quick end to the stress free time of university holidays. The lovely break down of a car. Out of action until Wednesday, and we have until then to scrape up about three grand (AUD).
